The Turning Pointe Center of Dance, now in it's 27th year, provides its students with a dance education that encompasses the true beauty, grace, strength and spirit that is dance. Our goal is to provide excellence in the art of dance in a nurturing and professional environment.

Classes are designed to develop a strong technical knowledge as well as individual artistic expression. Dance is presented as both a challenge and a joy where our students are treated in a positive, respectful manner. We take pride in our dedication to provide a disciplined, stimulating, and creative atmosphere. We look forward to sharing our love of dance with you.

What Others Are Saying About Turning Pointe Center of Dance

"TPCD" is a perfect size. You are not just a number and at the same time you still have the advantage of a professional staff and shows. Students are looked upon as individuals. I have three daughters who have attended and their level of interest as well as talent varies. Lisa makes it all fit for routines, etc ... and she is creative with reusing props and costumes which is a welcomed effort for parents. We love it here."
The Hamilton family, Pembroke

"I danced at TPCD for 15 years. I've always loved to move, but Lisa taught me how to find inspiration behind the movement. She encouraged my own expression of dance while instilling a strong technical base. Lisa highlights her students strengths in her choreography while working with them in class to make their weaknesses strengths. The Turning Pointe has a very positive atmosphere in which hard work is rewarded. Lisa is a beautiful choreographer and is always looking for new elements and themes to keep her dancers challenged and her audience more than entertained. Dancing with the Turning Pointe has created endless opportunities and inspiration for me to continue dancing."
Lexi Heiser, Pembroke

"I have two little girls who have just started ballet. They love 'Ms. Lisa' and can't wait for class each week. I have been very impressed with the way Lisa teaches these young children to love music and dancing. She has really tailored each lesson to combine classic ballet moves with a variety of activities that enables children to actively experience the joy of dance. We're so glad to have found TPCD."
